I'm going to a Baby Shower at the end of the month- My first one!!! When I heard I was invited (long story- family friend's daughter of the in-laws who grew up with my husband) I immediately thought of Anouk from the Spring '04 Knitty.Upon further inspection of the pattern however, I discovered that it was actually a pinafore- not a dress. I don't think that is very practical for a baby, so I began knitting it in the round. It came along nicely, until I started knitting it flat and my stitches were crooked!!
Fortunately, Knitty's Coffeeshop to the rescue- and apparently I need to knit through the front leg in order to fix it- and it worked!!
I'll post pictures later.
